Traditional Signwriting

I’m Kevin Shuttlewood, a Traditional Signwriter. I offer traditional Signwriting in Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and London.
I started my apprenticeship in 1972 and became a qualified signwriter in 1977.

I established KGS in 1982 and have experienced developments from traditional signwriting through to the digital age. I believe  that if you require a sign to enhance and inform everyone about  your business then a unique, bespoke traditional sign-written  sign cannot be bettered.

Signboards are made mostly from WPB Birch plywood and painted with quality exterior paint. At least five coats of paint are  applied, from primer to finished coat and then signwritten with  signwriter’s enamel.

My business is set in an ideal area where Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and London are all accessible.
